About the Author
The Author: Dwight Hutchison has worked with Youth With A Mission since 1986. For over 20 years he was involved in organizing and directing a worldwide Christian intercessory prayer effort. Dwight and his family live in the Rhone Valley in southern France.
Having been interested in astronomy and the Star of Bethlehem since his youth, over the past 10 years Dwight quietly did some research about the famous star. Unexpectedly, in January 2012, doors opened for him to study the subject in much greater detail. This book is the fruit of two and a half years of nearly full-time research and writing concerning the famous star and the men who understood its meaning.

Review of The Lion Led the Way

This book is very well thought out and researched. It presents a completely different perspective on the Star of Bethlehem than has been presented by many others and answers all the questions raised by skeptics concerning the physical reality of this phenomenon mentioned on the Gospoel of St. Matthew. This book should become the standard theory for the Star of Bethlehem by which all other theories on the subject are judged. The author has done an excellent job of integrating the historical, biblical, astronomical, and religious feasts into a self-consisistent story which is a pleasure to read.

The Lion Led the Way, 2013, by Dwight Hutchinson, is an incredibly well-researched book that emphasizes the Jewishness of Jesus’ birth and the many signs in the heaven that point to Jesus as the Messiah of the human race. This book is an absolute must-read for any person wanting more information about this wonderful birth.
Our Bible study group at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Lucas, Ohio has had several yearly presentations of the star of Bethlehem and we look forward to future ones being inspired by this book.
